Brendan Conroy has been nominated by the city’s Republican party to challenge the Democratic Bramson, who has been in office since January 2006.

Conroy is currently a real estate salesperson at Houlihan Lawrence. His bio states that “having lived his entire life in Southern Westchester, Brendan’s networks, both personal and professional, are second to none.

“Aside from his notable skill, Brendan is a personable ally who excels at putting clients at ease. Intelligent, nimble and eminently trustworthy, he thrives on connecting with people and making their real estate dreams a reality.”

Bramson has been overwhelmingly elected three times since he initially took office and previously served a decade as a member of the New Rochelle City Council.
